Another state program for Massachusetts. Even if your child(ren) have private insurance, apply for MassHealth as secondary coverage. There are many things MassHealth can cover/assist with that private insurance will not help with.
Also, once approved-apply for the MassHealth Premium Assistance program. This program reimburses eligible MassHealth members for some or all of the premium cost of eligible private insurance. DDS will assist with completing all MassHealth applications for free.
